Behind The Curve Part mockumentary, part video essay Behind The Curve examines the 1980s alternative rock band The Replacements. Combining interview footage of the artist with an oral history of the band, the video addresses the larger issues of ownership, resistance, failure, and myth that marked The Replacements career. Shown in proximity to the artist's ongoing collection of Replacements memorabilia the video finds its ultimate irony as one starts to question the artist's statements and the overall importance of the acquired materials in relation to the band's history.   Documentation from Gallery4Culture.
